Grow a grapevine from a single branch as a bonsai, cover your balcony and harvest fruit every year without buying any

More and more people like to keep a potted plant on their balcony. It not only decorates the space nicely but also enriches their spare time. And balcony bonsai are not limited to flowers and foliage plants - you can also grow a fruit bonsai, which is both edible and greening for the home, killing two birds with one stone.
The grape bonsai has become very popular in recent years as a fruit-viewing bonsai, and a single branch can become a bonsai. It bears fruit every year and covers the balcony, so you do not even need to buy grapes.
Cut off a healthy branch with two plump buds on it. Wait until the cut has healed, then insert it into a bottle, fill it with water, plug the bottle mouth with some cotton, and bury it in soil. It will root in about 20 days, after which it can be moved into a pot.
The potting soil needs to be fertile. You can mix garden soil, leaf mold and coal cinder with decomposed chicken manure, which will make it grow vigorously and produce even tastier fruit.
Also, place it in a sunny spot and improve ventilation, which can reduce pests and diseases, increase fruit set, and make the fruit sweeter and larger.
In the early stage of fruit set, apply organic fertilizer. Chemical fertilizers are not recommended. For example, decomposed chicken manure, rapeseed fertilizer and soybean cake fertilizer can be applied 2 to 3 times, making the fruit large and tasty and increasing the number of fruits set.
Potted grapes not only decorate the home well, but their fruit is also delicious, provides abundant vitamins, and is very easy to care for, making them an excellent choice for potted plants.
