As people's living standards improve, more and more people like to place 1-2 potted plants at home. They beautify the room and purify the air, truly a case of killing several birds with one stone. And for some older people, growing flowers also cultivates the mind and character. As for southern flowers like gardenia, jasmine and Aglaia odorata, northern gardening enthusiasts like them too. But liking them is one thing, and many people fail to grow these southern flowers well. Today I'm sharing a little flower-growing method that will let you grow gardenia, jasmine, Aglaia odorata, azalea... these hard-to-please southern flowers into bursting pots. This is also today's topic:

Gardenia, jasmine and Aglaia odorata: water with a cup of "urine" every 7 days, and the flowers burst into a mass of blooms, without attracting bugs!

Water with a cup of urine every 7 days, and the flowers burst into a mass of blooms, without attracting bugs - are we dreaming? Many gardening enthusiasts have this question when they see a title like ours. Actually, this is a little suspense I deliberately created. The "urine" here is not the human urine or animal urine we usually talk about. Never mind that readers wouldn't use it - even I wouldn't suggest growing flowers indoors and watering them with urine. Just think how smelly that would be!

Rest assured, the "urine" mentioned here is just a solution of beer plus a little something. It looks like urine, but it is definitely not real urine!

Beer is a kind of liquid bread, and brewing beer itself requires fermentation, so it contains many nutrients suitable for flower growth. We add a little something to the beer, and it becomes a nutrient solution that southern flowers like gardenia, jasmine, Aglaia odorata and azalea love. After use, the effect is especially great. Come take a look with me!

Add a little white vinegar to beer, and the leaves turn green as jade

First open the beer and let it stand for 1-2 days. Once the alcohol inside has evaporated, you can add white vinegar and clean water to make a leaf-greening agent. The mixing ratio is white vinegar, beer and clean water at 1:10:500. Stir well and it can be used to water the flowers. It can also be sprayed on the leaves, making the leaves of potted plants like gardenia, Aglaia odorata, jasmine, azalea, camellia, pothos and pennywort all glossy green.

Add a little ferrous sulfate to beer, and the leaves will never turn yellow again

Everyone knows that some southern flowers like Aglaia odorata, gardenia, jasmine, camellia and azalea all prefer acidic soil. If the soil loses its acidity, the leaves will quickly turn yellow. So we can regularly water them with a solution of beer and ferrous sulfate, which solves this problem very well.

After opening the beer, pour it into a cup and let it stand for about 4 days. Then take a small spoon of ferrous sulfate; the ratio with beer is 1:250. Stir well and it can be used to water the flowers. After use, the effect is especially good, much better than using ferrous sulfate alone for growing flowers.

You can also put the beer and ferrous sulfate solution into a spray bottle and use it to spray the leaves. It can make the leaves of gardenia, jasmine and Aglaia odorata all glossy green, and they definitely won't turn yellow.

Moreover, if you throw a few cigarette butts into the beer and soak them for 3-4 days, then dilute with clean water, it can be used to spray the leaves. The insect-killing effect is especially good. It can be used on Chinese rose, Aglaia odorata, gardenia, jasmine, azalea and more, with surprisingly good results.
