How should pothos be grown after cutting
I. Soil cultivation method
Trim the cut pothos stem, remove all the lower leaves, and cut the bottom of the stem into a 45° slant to help it absorb nutrients. Soak the trimmed stem in rooting solution for two minutes and let it dry, which can improve the survival rate.
After treating the cutting, insert it into the prepared soil, but do not insert it too deep; half the length of the stem should remain exposed above the surface. After cuttings are inserted, water thoroughly, and finally place them in a cool and well-ventilated environment. Usually keep the air humidity sufficient and do not let it get too dry. Once the cuttings have rooted, they can be cared for normally.
II. Water cultivation method
The cut stems should preferably have aerial roots, as this will give a very high survival rate, and the stem length is best kept at about 7-10 cm. Likewise, remove the lower leaves and place it into a hydroponic container. Do not use too much water; it is enough for the water to cover 1/3 or 1/2 of the stem.
Before the plant has rooted, change the water once every 2-3 days, and when changing the water, clean the container appropriately. After it has rooted, it is enough to change the water once a week.
