What to Do When Cyclamen Flowers and Leaves Droop? Causes and Solutions
1. Pause watering
(1) Specific cause: It may be caused by overwatering. Cyclamen does not like being too moist, and especially cannot tolerate waterlogged soil. If there is too much water, the flowers and leaves may droop.
(2) Solution: After noticing this, first pause watering for a period of time. Once the condition has eased somewhat, water again. If the situation is very serious, you can also replace the soil. When watering afterward, be sure to use a correct and scientific method. If you are unsure exactly how much water to give, you can use the bottom-watering method. If watering from above, the general principle is "water when dry, stop when wet"; specifically, there are differences in every season, so it cannot be generalized. Also, do not splash too much water on the leaves; after watering or misting, it is best to wipe them with a cloth.
2. Put it in a warm place
(1) Specific cause: If the temperature is too low and the plant freezes, drooping flowers and leaves can also occur. This is relatively common from late autumn to winter.
(2) Solution: Move the plant to a warm place as soon as possible for care. If the frost damage is very severe, you will have to take the plant out and replant it; there is a chance it can be saved.
3. Place it in a cool, shaded place
(1) Specific cause: This situation refers to newly purchased plants that have not adapted to the environment.
(2) Solution: First, do not expose it to light; place it in a semi-shaded spot. In addition, do not water it for the time being.
