The path of a bonsai life always stretches forward

[Bonsai practitioner's reflections]

Today is tomorrow's memory. The words we have said, the things we have done, the roads we have walked, the people we have met, are all the traces of our future memories. We need not mourn yesterday, nor extravagantly hope for tomorrow; we need only earnestly live each today, saying what can be said, doing what can be done, walking the road that should be walked, meeting the people we want to meet. Only by keeping our feet on the ground, without indifference, without idleness, without waste, can we add luster and brightness to tomorrow's memories.

The path of life always stretches forward, and along the way there are inevitably scenes of every kind, some bright, some dark, and inevitably all sorts of bewilderment that make things unclear and unfathomable, full of much that is unknown and confusing. So we need a lamp to light our way, so that we do not lose our direction as we walk. May your heart have a lamp, and your road never lost.
