Don't throw away empty oil drums - they're perfect for growing vegetables like crazy

Those empty oil drums left over after cooking at home are a real shame to throw away, especially for those who like to grow a few small vegetables at home - they're simply perfect as "vegetable pots," and you won't need to buy any more flower pots in the future.
After washing these empty oil drums clean, you can cut off the top and burn several rows of small holes around the sides of the drum to plant some large onions, and then you'll have an endless supply of green onion shoots to eat.
You can also use scissors to cut off the upper part, poke a few small holes on the other side for drainage, fill the drum with soil, and plant some cilantro. Keep the soil moist as usual, add some fertilizer, and it will grow very lush.
You can also grow some chili pepper seedlings. You can sow the seeds directly in the oil drum, thin out the weak seedlings after they sprout, and keep 1-2 healthy seedlings. With plenty of fertilizer and sunlight, the fruits they produce are quite good too.
Or grow some green vegetables like bok choy, lettuce, garland chrysanthemum, and so on - these are all fast-growing varieties.
