Aphids are very small, so small they can be ignored. The appearance of aphids cannot be seen clearly without a microscope. Anyway, I would not be so bored as to use a microscope to look at aphids. I guess they probably look similar to ladybugs.
Clusters of aphids look pale green with a little yellow, and seeing them up close is still a bit uncomfortable. Getting rid of aphids is somewhat difficult.
