Days as sweet as figs - a girl soured by life would never imagine them

It's Friday again, and I'm often so moved by the beautiful weekend I've sketched out for myself in my mind: wake up early, find a chic spot for brunch, order a latte with perfect latte art and a flawless eggs Benedict, sit by the window soaking up the sun, and before long, read a book for a while...

Summer's blessing

What have you all been relying on to survive lately?

I chose two bags of cold brew, put them in a cup, added hot water, and a hot Americano was born in less than 1 minute.When I drank it, it was surprisingly smooth - the acidity and sweetness balanced just right.Although the aroma wasn't as intense as freshly ground or drip bag coffee, the taste was not inferior at all.

(Many people think "cold brew coffee" can only be made with ice, but actually that's not true - hot water doesn't ruin the taste at all. Instead, it brings out another kind of flavor. It's perfectly fine to drink in winter too.)

Cold brew (an extraction method) coffee is different from cold-brewed coffee - it uses a low-temperature, slow extraction method.This method inhibits the dissolution of tannins and caffeine, so bitterness, fruit acidity and astringency are relatively reduced.This is also why it tastes especially smooth - I can't give too many reasons, it's simply that it "tastes good."

Usually we can get cold brew at specialty coffee shops, but refrigerating overnight or even storing for a week is absolutely not possible.
