Flower Market, Flower Fun

Lin Qingxuan's "A Pure and Good Heart" says, "There are three professions that are blessings cultivated in past lives: selling flowers, selling umbrellas, and selling incense. That is because these three professions are purely good industries, bringing only benefit to all beings, causing no harm, and can continuously form good karmic connections with people.”

Luo Jun's Fula Huaqu was born to form good karmic connections. Fula was originally a homophone for "for love," because of love, Fula came to be. Later, she hoped Fula would be loving and fun, so it became funloving Fula Huaqu.

However, everyone remembers it as Fula, perhaps because of love~

Luo Jun still remembers that five years ago in late autumn, after posting floral art photos on Weibo for nearly half a month, a college classmate bought her first bouquet to support her.

Luo Jun's Weibo flower shop was considered open. With no other promotional methods, she just posted on Weibo day by day, watching followers accumulate one by one, from 0 to 30,000. It took her over 5 years.

To be honest, this speed is very slow. Because there was no grandstanding, no hype, just honestly making flowers and persistently taking photos,Opening a very slow flower shop, using a girl's most beautiful years of youth to guard a dream taking root and sprouting.

These 5 years have taught Luo Jun that wanting to do a blessed career requires incalculable labor and effort. Behind the beautiful appearance is piles of discarded flower stems and debris.

The time spent standing while arranging flowers,

exceeds 12 hours every day.

Often holding bundles of floral materials,

gives every floral artist powerful arm strength.

Planning banquet floral art requires working without sleep or rest.

The next day, still full of energy, with no trace of fatigue.

"Because as an excellent floral artist,

her state should be able to walk the red carpet,

and also do rough work."

Luo Jun says, "Along this path, we walk very slowly, but we are not anxious." Because of walking slowly, there is ample time to learn and improve oneself. Because of walking slowly, one knows to cherish the friends who accompany along the way.

Finally, in the summer of 2016, during Chengdu's drizzly rainy season, Luo Jun's Weibo flower shop got a physical offline location. She placed the Fula Huaqu studio in the Wanfu Flower Industry Park in Sansheng Township.

Opening a studio inside a flower market? You'd be hard-pressed to find a second floral artist who would do this. The flower market is noisy and chaotic, how could anyone concentrate on creating!

But once Luo Jun stated her reasons, she convinced everyone, "Flowers are the most important part of floral art. In the flower market,we can get the best flowers at the earliest moment, and deliver fresh flowers to customers' hands in the shortest time.”

So, in the Wanfu Flower Market in Sansheng Township, inside a wholly unrefined wholesale market, you will see an out-of-place flower studio, yet it is so fascinating.

The readily available fresh floral materials gave Luo Jun more room for creativity. Since last year, she has taken on wedding and banquet floral art. Some floral artists Peony knows don't do wedding floral art or banquet arrangements, because it requires staying up late, too exhausting.

But Luo Jun of Fula Huaqu is an Aries who gets swept up easily. After hearing a client's story, she gets moved and just does it. Every floral arrangement she plans is like doing narration for a film, delving deep inside yet standing outside.

Only when the story is heard truly and clearly can the wedding's floral style present a completely different flavor.

The bride said, I like grass and leaves,

The wedding that her husband and Luo Jun prepared for her was green in every direction.

Using the boldness of wild grass and the solemnity of the forest,

they created a green dream for the bride.

A girl who loves branches, leaves, and wood,

her love is also like wood, silent and enduring.

Luo Jun incorporated wood and branches into the table flowers,

as if inadvertently straying into a forest fairy tale.

If wedding floral art is one emotional baptism after another, then birthday banquets and baby banquets are a process of growth.

Many of Luo Jun's clients have matured alongside Fula Huaqu. In the nearly 6 years since Fula Huaqu was founded, Luo Jun has watched them go from young girls to wives and mothers, and the emotions in her heart are self-evident.

wanting to give the baby a pink world.

A child's birthday banquet,

fresh flowers and fruits are both bursting with vitality.

A soft and adorable baby banquet,

communication lasted half a month,

moved by the mother's meticulousness and patience,

every woman who becomes a mother is a hero.

If there happens to be no work, Luo Jun won't idle either. Listening to the noise outside the door, smelling the fragrance of flowers, hearing a heart-stirring lyric or seeing a flower blooming just right, her desire to create comes.

she makes a set of Chinese red dining table floral arrangements,

Most of the time, Luo Jun gives people the impression of a quiet and gentle girl, but once she encounters flowers, she becomes lively. In her own words, this is a typical outwardly cool but inwardly passionate personality.

Collaborating with good friend Li Bailu often stimulates her "outwardly cool but inwardly passionate" personality.

Wanting to make a pure pink table arrangement,

attracted by blooming Australian peonies,

oops, accidentally made it into an elegant dusty pink~

With white gauze, why not wrap the flowers up,

a set of pure white "mummy floral art" was born.

Floral artist is indeed a magical profession, able to unleash a person's primal power, able to make a fierce woman gentle, and make a gentle girl efficient.

But at the same time, floral art will make what you insist on remain unchanged. Luo Jun's quiet personality has not changed after striving in the industry for so many years. She says,"Life is about following your own temperament. Whoever you are, use that tone. Don't follow others to join the crowd."

In these years of working with flowers, Luo Jun's traveling feet have never stopped. From a young girl she gradually matured, and her former rawness has transformed into a kind of resilience.

Fortunately, plants have healing power. No matter how tired her legs and feet are, her heart feels a joy like never before.

After working with flowers, Luo Jun matures, and also stays young.

Her goal is very simple, like many flower fans,
