Failed makeover cases from Space Swap: the designer grins while the homeowner secretly wipes away tears

Space Swap can be considered a fairly long-running TV show. The editor was watching it as a child, and it has been recorded up to now with many people still enjoying it. There are quite a few elegant examples, but they are not all fond memories; many designers' designs have dealt homeowners a heavy blow, and some homeowners cried on the spot! Because this home did not become better looking, but instead became even more bizarre! Do you know what the designers actually designed?

Take a look at this little mermaid backdrop wall. Is it dreamy? A bathroom, and it still has so many over-the-top beaded curtains hanging in it. To be fair, the editor did fantasize about this kind of design as a child, but in the imagination it was a very beautiful look. How is it that when the designer uses this kind of bead string to hang it up, it looks so cheap?

Why on earth hang a white gauze curtain with unclear meaning on someone's wall? And this gauze curtain absolutely has to be hung in the middle of a painting, which really gives the editor an unpleasant association! A child getting up at night to use the bathroom would probably be scared half to death!

And there is this design, which is truly baffling. What inexplicable obsession does the designer have with gauze curtains? But hanging a purple gauze curtain abruptly in someone's living room, paired with blue walls, do you not think it is strange?

These tangled designs, I think, let alone designers, ordinary people would not think of them! Now that it has been renovated like this, the designer is grinning, leaving only the homeowner secretly wiping away tears. What has been ruined is their own home!
