Two things you must remember about newly bought flowers, or they will die as soon as you repot them

Flower lovers often leave me messages asking why their newly bought flowers die as soon as they repot them. Let me tell you: when this happens, it is mainly because we failed at two things!
First, repotting too soon
I have told you before, for newly bought flowers, at the very least you should wait until the original potting soil has dried out completely before repotting, especially for flowers bought online. They have already been tossed around on the road for several days, and after arriving home, if you repot them right away, the death rate can reach 60%!
Second, using unsuitable soil
When repotting a newly bought flower, whatever soil came with the original pot, it is best to fill in the same kind of soil; if you do not have the same kind, then at least fill in something similar! For example, camellias are usually bought in red soil, and if we do not have red soil, then use some garden soil mixed with some river sand! That is what similar means!
The worst thing you can do is: the original pot came with clay soil, and the soil you fill in is a well-draining nutrient soil. If you plant it this way, 99% of the time this flower will not grow well! Because these two soils have different water permeability, after you water, before the clay soil in the middle has absorbed any, the water has already flowed away through the nutrient soil, and its roots simply cannot absorb any water at all. In that case, never mind growing well, even keeping it alive is very difficult!
In addition, whether it is a newly bought flower or any other flower, as long as you are transplanting or repotting, when watering after transplanting, it is best to use a little rooting solution, so it will adapt to the pot faster!
