Don't just use a mop on greasy floors; add a little something when cleaning and they'll be shiny as new

Floors at home, especially those near the kitchen, are always exposed to cooking fumes and grease, so they easily end up coated in a greasy layer of grime. This kind of grime makes the whole home feel unclean, murky and unsightly; moreover, this grease simply cannot be thoroughly cleaned away by mopping with plain water alone. So when we clean the floors, we should pay attention to using some other methods, such as adding a little something to the mop water, so that after mopping the floor will be shiny and look as good as new!
1. Baking soda
Mopping with baking soda is a really great method. Baking soda can remove a lot of dirt, and its effect on grease is quite good too. First take a basin and dissolve the baking soda evenly in water. Then splash it onto the greasy floor and mop it again, and you'll find the cleaning effect is very obvious.
2. Vinegar
White vinegar also works very well, because it is an acidic substance and its ability to dissolve grease is fairly strong. Normally when we mop, we can fill a basin with some tap water and then add a little white vinegar, so that the diluted white vinegar can be used smoothly for mopping.
3. Salt
When you're troubled by greasy floors, there's another little helper that can come to your aid, and that is "salt". Dissolved in water and used for mopping, salt can produce an immediate effect; the grease is quickly eliminated by the salt water, and the material is cheap too, so after mopping this way the floor will be just like new.
