This series' theme awakened Peony Girl's memories. When she was little, her hometown often flooded. The river overflowed its banks, and the first floor was always the hardest hit. Every year the parents faced it like a major enemy. Once the water nearly reached the second floor, with water all around. The water stopped, the electricity stopped, and the restlessness in the heart was forced to stop too. Not knowing when the flood would recede, Mom had no mood to force me to practice calligraphy either. That state of mind, looking back now, actually became a precious memory.
