Domestic soybeans form an alliance to pool efforts for joint sales and boost competitiveness

Domestic soybeans unite! After two consecutive years of poor harvests, domestic soybeans had a bumper harvest last year but faced inventory pressure. More than ten soybean contract-farming entities in central and southern Taiwan recently formed an alliance, with the Taiwan Area Miscellaneous Grains Development Foundation helping to build a brand. The first product, a black soybean milk with a production and sales history, is about to appear in retail channels, in hopes of boosting the market competitiveness of domestically grown miscellaneous grains.
