These days many people keep a few pots of pothos at home. The first reason is that pothos is easy to grow; it doesn't need much care normally and still grows green and lush. And nowadays, whether at home or in the office areas of many office buildings, people like to place a few pots of pothos, as it purifies the air and protects against radiation. Although growing pothos is simple, if you want it to trail vines or climb a wall, you still need to put in a bit of thought. Actually, getting pothos to climb a wall isn't hard. Feed it an "egg" every month, let it grow as it pleases, and it can grow very fast, even covering a whole wall.

We all know that eggs are highly nutritious and rich in protein, which is very good for supplementing the nutrients our bodies need. The same goes for pothos. When we "feed" an egg to pothos, we mainly use the egg white, because the nutrients in egg white make an excellent nitrogen fertilizer that promotes rapid growth in pothos. If pothos "eats" this egg white, you don't need to bother with it, and before long it will start climbing your walls. But feeding egg white directly isn't effective either, so what exactly is the method?

First, crack an egg into a bowl, remove the yolk and keep only the egg white. Then prepare a clean large plastic bottle, pour the egg white in, and then fill the bottle with about one liter of water. Here we can also use the rice-washing water from cooking. Then we need to shake it thoroughly to mix it well, and after that comes waiting for fermentation. It's hot summer now, and with high temperatures, we only need about 20 days of fermentation.

But before feeding it to the pothos, to prevent excessive nutrients, it still needs to be diluted, using a ratio of 1:10 with clean water, and then it can be fed to the pothos. With such a simple operation, as long as you feed the pothos once a month, before long your walls at home will be covered with pothos. This method also works for spider plants, which can grow just as lushly.
