Grow Anthurium this way and the leaf tips won't dry out, and every new leaf will bring a flower

Recently a flower-loving reader left a message asking how to grow Anthurium. Let me tell you: Anthurium follows a cyclical growth pattern of one leaf, one flower, one flower, one leaf. As long as it is cared for well, every time it grows a leaf, it will inevitably bloom a flower. Many flower lovers fail to grow Anthurium well mainly because they haven't mastered the correct care methods.
Today, I will share my own successful experience of growing Anthurium with everyone.
First, if you want to grow Anthurium well, after bringing it home, don't rush to repot it. Wait until it has grown a leaf and bloomed a flower before repotting.
Second, when repotting, the new pot should not be too large or too deep; about 2 cm larger than the original pot is most suitable. Also, when repotting, you must choose suitable soil. The most suitable soil mix is: large-grade peat moss + a small amount of perlite. If you really can't find peat moss, use pine needles.
Third, Anthurium likes light but fears scorching sun, so in summer it must be placed in a bright spot with indirect light. However, in the early morning and evening when the light is not strong, it is best to still give it some sun, otherwise flowering will be affected. In other seasons, it must be placed in a spot with ample sunlight. Normally, you must wait until the potting soil is completely dry before watering it again. If the potting soil stays too wet for a long time, at best the leaves turn yellow, and at worst the roots rot.
In addition, Anthurium is not tolerant of fertilizer; too much fertilizer easily burns the roots and causes dry leaf tips and dry leaf edges. We can sprinkle some granular compound fertilizer or slow-release fertilizer on the surface of the potting soil, and when it has completely dissolved, add another round.
As long as Anthurium is grown according to this method, not only will the leaf tips and leaf edges not dry out, but every leaf it grows will 100% bring a flower!
