Manual assisted mating method for domestic rabbits: place the buck and doe on a large tabletop, or in a larger buck cage; first hold the doe down, grasp the skin of the doe's neck and both ears with the right hand, insert the left hand from the ventral side into the area under the belly between the hind legs, and use the thumb and index finger to brace on either side of the doe's genitalia, lift the doe's hindquarters so that the doe is in a head-low, tail-high posture, and let the buck mate; after mating is complete, pat the doe's hindquarters with the hand to make her rear body tense, so that the semen is drawn in deeply.
