What technology is needed for breeding small turtles?
Ornamental turtles kept at home like to eat fresh pork, shrimp meat and snail meat, etc. The water level generally should not be too deep; just enough to submerge the turtle's back is fine.
In summer, mainly change the water more often and always keep the water clean. Especially after the feed is eaten, the water quality quickly becomes turbid, so the water should be changed in time; every 10-15 days, soak the turtle in 1-2% salt water for 10-15 minutes. At the same time, add antibacterial drugs such as allicin or ciprofloxacin to the feed at 2-3 grams per kilogram of feed, for a course of 3-4 days.
In winter, turtles are in a dormant state. If they generally do not eat, there is no need to feed them, and management is relatively simple.
