The correct view on cattle and sheep scammers in Shandong, please read patiently

Are there cattle and sheep scammers in Shandong? There certainly are. Who dares say there aren't? I'll jump up and curse them for three days and three nights.
But one thing must be recognized: nothing is absolute. You can't say that because Japan invaded China, all Japanese people are bad, or that all Kuomintang members are bad, right? Conversely, does being an official make someone a good person?

I remember a netizen once posted an article about good people and bad people:
"In this world there is no real distinction between good people and bad people. Good people sometimes do bad things, and bad people can't possibly do bad things their whole lives. Good deeds and bad deeds are also understood differently in different people's eyes. Perhaps something you did looks to one person like the best good deed possible, but in another person's eyes it might be the worst bad deed possible."
The main point of this passage is to make everyone recognize one thing: everything has two sides, so don't blindly look only at its surface.
This issue isn't about whether it's a scam or not, but about whether you treat it seriously. Everyone knows that nowadays, whether online or on TV, there are many reports on phone and text message prize scams and how to prevent them, yet many people still believe them. Tell me, is it the scammers who are infuriating, or the people who believe their nonsense?

Many scammers exploit people's love of small bargains to set their traps. I remember on Tianya community, I saw someone reply with an article:
"Let me talk about how the cattle and sheep scammers in Jining, Shandong cheat people! Don't think you can rest easy just because others don't know about the wicked things you've done. Remember, if you don't want people to know, you'd better not do it! First, you use false advertising: low prices for purebred cattle, good quality, free delivery, cash on delivery, free chaff cutters, welcome to visit and inspect, travel expenses reimbursed, and all kinds of other beautifully crafted lies to lure people from all over who want to get into cattle and sheep farming to Jiaxiang, Shandong."
Friends, what essential difference is there between the false advertising mentioned above and prize-winning text message scams? But why do so many people still become what he calls "prey"? Ask yourself, would anyone with even a tiny bit of scam awareness fall for it? Did a donkey kick your head or did a door squeeze it? Please forgive my crude language.

Scammers are infuriating, but personally I think what's even more infuriating isn't the scammers, but the people who get scammed. I won't go into the reasons; just think about it in the context of the Shandong cattle and sheep scam.
The key isn't how formidable the scammers are, but whether you, as the target of their scam, have raised your vigilance. When I published articles before, I said, "Pies don't fall from the sky, and even if they did, they wouldn't hit you, and even if they hit you, you might not necessarily be able to grab one." There's no harm in being a bit more careful about everything.

Scammers are infuriating, but those who willingly fall for it are even more infuriating (the skit "Selling Crutches" is a typical example).
There's no harm in being a bit more careful about everything. Why don't others get scammed, but you did? And after it's over, you go around saying things like "there's not a single good person in Shandong" and "all the cattle and sheep sellers in Shandong are scammers." This is something everyone should reflect on.
As for the Shandong scammers, I am extremely angry, because they messed up quite a few of my clients and thoroughly shamed us people of Jiaxiang. But what makes me even angrier is why we can't live up to what the skit actor Fan Wei said: "As long as we kind people stay vigilant against you, what can you still do?"
To sum up: don't condemn everyone with one sweeping blow, and don't let down your guard either.
I only finished junior high school, so my writing isn't great. I hope you won't bash me.
