Profit Analysis of Raising 200 Boer Goats
(Agricultural Wealth Network) I found that many netizens want to raise goats, but they don't know what the profit from raising goats is like. They all want to know the profit from Boer goats. A few days ago, I calculated the profit and benefit analysis of Boer goats for a customer who bought 200 Boer goats. I'm sharing it with everyone here.

200 goats: 200X250 (general unit price) = 50,000 yuan

The daily feed cost for 1 goat is 0.5-0.7 yuan (average)

Boer goats generally can be marketed in less than 6 months. You only need to raise them for 3-4 months, because the lambs you buy are already about 2 months old, so that's about 100 days.

0.6 (feed) X about 100 days X 200 goats = 12,000 yuan

Then subtract some other expenses, such as electricity, water, and transportation. That's only a few thousand a year, not much.

In that case, 200 Boer goats up to marketing would be 50,000+12,000=62,000 yuan

200 Boer lambs: 200X250 = 50,000 yuan

The feed cost has already been calculated above: 12,000 yuan. The total cost is 62,000.

For fattening and marketing, they can grow to at least 80 jin. Generally, in 6 months they can grow to 90-120 jin.

If sold at 6 yuan per jin (currently I take the mutton sheep price as 6.8/jin), in some places it is very expensive, and can even sell for 7 or 8 yuan. This can be found online. Calculated at 100 jin per goat,

that is 100X6=600 yuan

600X200=120,000, then minus cost: 120,000-62,000=58,000

At 7 yuan

100X7=700

700X200=140,000, then minus cost: 140,000-62,000=78,000

Taking the average of the two, 68,000 is your net profit for 200 Boer goats in half a year. In reality there may be some difference from the calculation, but not too much. 68,000 is the average of the lowest profit and the relatively high profit.

If among these you can raise a relatively good breeding ram, then congratulations. A well-grown 8-month-old breeding ram can sell for more than 2,000-3,000.

The above is my benefit analysis of Boer goats. If you don't understand anything, add my QQ number: 871498872. Remember my website, China Goat Raising Network: http://www.cn-nyw.cnbuzaiai1748
