How to apply nitrogen nutrition to rapeseed correctly
Correct application of nitrogen nutrition to rapeseed
(Agricultural Wealth Network) Determining a reasonable nitrogen application rate is very important in rapeseed growth. For fields with a yield of less than 100 kg of rapeseed per mu, the nitrogen consumption per 100 kg of rapeseed produced is 10.93 kg; while for fields with a yield of more than 150 kg per mu, the nitrogen consumption per 100 kg of rapeseed rises to 12.3 kg. When the pure nitrogen applied per mu reaches more than 20 kg, the residual nitrogen in the soil increases significantly, and the utilization rate drops markedly. From the perspective of yield increase efficiency, applying 7 to 14 kg of pure nitrogen per mu is the highest. When fertilizer is insufficient in large-scale production, applying about 7.5 kg of pure nitrogen per mu can achieve a relatively large yield increase and the best economic benefit.
