According to surveys, stocking densities are relatively high in all areas, and water quality is polluted in many places, conditions for water exchange are poor, and in addition, people do not pay much attention to the use of medicated feed, so cases of black gill disease, rotten gill disease, incomplete molting disease, and ammonia nitrogen poisoning will appear in large numbers. In response to this situation, the following preventive measures should be taken to reduce losses:
1. Regularly splash Bacillus bacteria strains, water-protecting probiotics, pond bottom cleaner, Nitrifying No. 1 and other live bacteria to keep the water clean and the bottom substrate clean. Generally use once every half a month, which can reduce the incidence of diseases caused by poor water quality and bottom substrate (such as rotten gill disease, black gill disease, ciliate disease, etc.).
2. Strengthen the addition of oral medicines (especially Chinese herbal medicines) to the bait. Every half a month, use Wei Mian + Jinfang Liver Protection Treasure + Duo Xiao Kang Du (or yogurt bacteria freeze-dried agent + Jin Wei An + shrimp and crab rapid growth), each group mixed with 100 jin of fish or feed. 3. If small fish are used to feed crabs, the small fish should be soaked and disinfected with You Dian before being fed to the crabs. Symptoms: A large number of crabs can be seen coming ashore or climbing to the bank. The body surface of diseased crabs is covered with many brown or yellow-green down-like filaments, movement is slow, the crabs cannot molt, and they often die in large numbers within a few days.
Prevention and control methods:
(1) Exchange 1/3 of the water or add fresh water to keep the water fresh;
(2) Use anhydrous zinc sulfate 0.4-0.5 g/cubic meter dissolved in water and splash over the whole pond. For severe cases, use once more after 2 days;
(3) On the 2nd day after mass molting of crabs, use water-protecting probiotics dissolved in water and splash over the whole pond, or directly dry-spread pond bottom cleaner, to maintain good water quality and bottom substrate, which can effectively prevent reinfection or secondary infection.
(2) Rotten gill disease and black gill disease
Symptoms: The gills turn black and necrotic, the abdomen and appendages rot, activity is slow, food intake decreases, the crab comes ashore and spits bubbles, breathing is difficult, and in the late stage of the disease there is mass death.
Prevention and control methods:
(1) Splash Wei Mian over the whole pond (each bag for 2-3 mu) to disinfect the water body;
(2) Use "Bai Ke + Wei Mian + shrimp and crab rapid growth", each group mixed with 80 jin of fish or feed, for 3-5 consecutive days, which can effectively eliminate symptoms;
(3) Edema disease
Symptoms: The abdomen, abdominal flap and lower part of the back shell are swollen and transparent, the gill filaments are edematous, and water flows out under light pressure. Diseased crabs lie prone on the bank, stop feeding, and finally die in shallow water.
Prevention and control methods:
(1) Soak Duo Xiao Kang Du dissolved in water for 2 hours, then splash over the whole pond at 2-3 mu per bag;
