How to Avoid Herbicide Damage in Vegetables? A Detailed Guide to Practical Methods
Methods to Avoid Herbicide Damage in Vegetables
(Agricultural Wealth Network) To help you prevent herbicide damage when using herbicides on vegetables, the following methods are recommended for the reference of fellow farmers.
In vegetable plots adjacent to field crops, when spraying pesticides to prevent and control diseases and pests, brassinolide should be added to the pesticide. It has a good effect on regulating the growth of vegetable crops and preventing or alleviating herbicide-induced damage.
If you notice that vegetable crops have been affected on the very day the herbicide is sprayed, immediately spray clean water to rinse them 1 to 2 times, then spray brassinolide + foliar fertilizer (amino acid-containing foliar fertilizer or imported urea) over the entire plant.
Strengthen fertilizer and water management, apply nitrogen fertilizer or compound fertilizer as a top dressing, and after 3 to 5 days spray abscisic acid once more. This can alleviate the damage and promote crop growth.
