Add this to your flower soil, and the potting mix will be fertile and airy, and your plants will grow like crazy and fill the pot with blooms

Friends who love growing flowers and plants at home, if you want your plants to grow well and bloom abundantly, mixing soil is key. If the soil is not mixed well, the plants will grow thin and spindly with sparse branches and leaves. People often use garden soil dug up from the countryside to grow flowers. Although it can grow plants, it is not fertile or airy enough. It is best to put a little of this in the soil; it is especially good for growing flowers.
What is meant here is eggshells. Usually, when cooking and preparing meals, lots of them are left over, and they can be collected right in the kitchen. They are a relatively long-lasting phosphorus fertilizer and also contain calcium, which is very beneficial to the growth of flowers and plants. After collecting the eggshells, sun them, crush them, and then add one tenth to the soil for growing flowers.
The potting soil will be loose and airy, and especially fertile. When growing jade plant, clivia, spider plant, and pothos, you can add some crushed eggshells.
When taking cuttings, how should you mix the soil? You can use perlite or vermiculite, add sand and peat, and mix them together. You can also mix peat and perlite at a 1:1 ratio. This can be used for cuttings of Chinese rose, jade plant, and so on, with a higher survival rate.
When planting flowers, if you are unwilling to buy nutrient soil, you can mix your own soil. Take ordinary soil, add decomposed organic fertilizer, then add one tenth sand or coal cinders, and add some crushed eggshells.
Using this kind of soil to grow flowers, the potting soil will not compact and will be especially fertile. The root systems of the flowers and plants will grow especially healthy and vigorous.
If the soil is used for sowing or raising seedlings, when mixing the soil, use ordinary garden soil plus a little sand, reduce the fertilizer, and just add a smaller amount of organic fertilizer. Before potting up flowers and plants, it is best to lay some broken tiles or coal cinders at the bottom of the flower pot, about 4 cm thick. This adds some medium for better air permeability and drainage, and the potting soil will not compact for several years.
