After the jasmine blooms for the first time, use this as a top dressing, and it will keep budding and blooming without interruption.

Jasmine is a very common flower, deeply loved by gardening enthusiasts, and is famous for its rich fragrance and long blooming period. It has the reputation of "one plant can perfume a whole room," and its flowers can also be used to make tea and medicine.
Jasmine's blooming period is mainly concentrated in summer, and it can bloom from May to November, producing about 3 continuous flushes. After the jasmine blooms for the first time, how you care for it will affect the quality and quantity of later blooms. Today, Hua'er will introduce to everyone how, after the jasmine's first bloom, using "it" as a top dressing will have it happily continuing to bud and bloom again within just a few days!
The "it" mentioned here refers to decomposed soybean cake fertilizer. Soybean cake fertilizer can be used as a top dressing. It contains a reasonable balance of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other elements, and can be quickly absorbed by jasmine, promoting its flower bud differentiation, budding and blooming, while causing relatively little damage to the roots. It is a very easy-to-use organic fertilizer.
Specific method: Prepare a few soybean cakes, crush them, put them into a container, add a small amount of water. If you have distillers' grains pellets at home, you can put a few in to speed up fermentation. After sealing, place it under the sun to bake. In summer, fermentation is basically complete in about 10 days.
When using it, first filter out the soybean residue, then dilute it with clean water 30-40 times, and pour it directly into the potting soil, applying once every 2-3 days.
When watering, pay attention to 2 points:
1. On the second day after watering, give it a thorough watering. This helps the jasmine absorb nutrients better and also avoids fertilizer burn.
2. When watering, slowly pour it in from the edge of the flowerpot, and stop watering when it gets close to the top.
If you want the jasmine's fragrance to be even richer, then apply more phosphorus fertilizer. You can spray a 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution onto the branches and leaves, which can promote more blooms, a richer fragrance, and a longer blooming period.
That is all for jasmine care. If fellow gardeners have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. If you want to learn more about flower-growing knowledge, you can follow Huajianke!
