Soaking Watermelon Seeds
(Agricultural Wealth Network) Usually, soaking seeds in cold water at room temperature (around 20°C) for 24 hours is best, resulting in early and uniform germination. In addition, there are several other soaking methods: 1. Soaking in 55°C warm water: mix 2 parts boiling water with 1 part cold water to make 55°C warm water, let it cool naturally, then soak the seeds for 4 to 6 hours. 2. Constant-temperature soaking: use 25 to 30°C warm water and soak the seeds for 6 to 8 hours under constant temperature conditions.
