Morphological Characteristics of the Dali Persimmon-Calyx Jujube

The Dali Persimmon-Calyx Jujube, also known as Persimmon-Flower Jujube, Persimmon-Stalk Jujube, or Persimmon-Top Jujube. The tree is vigorous with low branching ability. The fruit is round, with a single fruit weight of 12 grams, thick skin, and resistance to cracking; the calyx persists like that of a persimmon, hence the name Persimmon-Top Jujube. The flesh is crisp, with little juice and a sweet taste. The Dali Persimmon-Calyx Jujube is an excellent variety for fresh eating and drying; the plant is a type of the persistent-calyx jujube variant.
