Detailed Explanation of the Morphological Characteristics and Growth Features of Accessory Buds

Accessory buds sprout in the same year. On the primary branches of the jujube shoot, aside from the several buds at the base that develop into deciduous secondary branches, the accessory buds above the middle develop into permanent secondary branches; the accessory buds on the secondary branches, as the branch elongates, produce deciduous branches, and some of these deciduous branches can flower and bear fruit in the same year. The vast majority of accessory buds on the jujube spur develop into deciduous branches.
