Growth and fruiting characteristics of jujube trees in the early stage
Characteristics of growth and development of jujube trees in the early growth and fruiting stage
In the early fruiting stage of jujube trees, vegetative growth still dominated in the initial phase, with lateral branches emerging abundantly on all branches. Primary lateral branches formed fruiting base branches, and the nutrients produced were mainly used to expand the canopy. At the same time, the trees flowered and fruited, and yields gradually increased. Root-sucker seedlings in this period can generally continue until 20 years of age.
