Method for cultivating jujube or wild jujube seedling rootstock

Cultivation of jujube seedling rootstock: (1) Sowing pits. In autumn, select fully mature fruit with a high kernel-bearing rate, pile and compost them for 4 to 5 days (pile temperature not exceeding 65 degrees); after the flesh softens, crush the skin and flesh, add water and rub-wash to remove the skin, flesh and floating pits, then sun-dry the cleaned jujube (wild jujube) pits. These jujube pits (wild jujube pits) can be sown immediately in autumn, or after stratification, sown in the following spring. Use 10 to 12.5 kg of pits per mu. (2) Sowing kernels. First crack the pits to extract the kernels; no stratification is needed. Before sowing, soak in water for 1 to 2 days; once the kernels have fully absorbed water, sow directly. Use 2 kg of kernels per mu.
