Management Period for Rootstock Seedlings

Rootstock seedlings grow slowly and are not drought-tolerant. When the water content of the 0 to 20 cm soil layer drops below 12%, irrigation is needed to replenish soil moisture. When the seedlings reach 15 cm in height, apply a topdressing once. When the seedlings reach 30 cm in height, apply a second topdressing. For topdressing, dig a furrow 4 to 5 cm deep 10 cm to one side of the seedling row and apply the fertilizer there. Each time, apply 20 kg of diammonium phosphate per mu or an equivalent amount of other chemical fertilizer.
