Requirements for early fruiting among the desirable traits of jujube trees
Under ordinary management conditions, a jujube tree with desirable traits begins to bear fruit 1 to 2 years after the grafted seedling is planted, and by 3 to 5 years the yield per tree reaches more than 3 to 5 kg. The fruiting branches 1 to 2 years old must have good fruiting capacity, and the yield from these fruiting branches must be no less than one third of the yield from fruiting on perennial branches.
