Green Branch Cutting Methods and Technical Points for Jujube Trees
Green Branch Cutting Methods for Jujube Trees
Collect semi-lignified new shoots, cut them into segments, dip them quickly for 5 to 10 seconds in a solution of indolebutyric acid at a concentration of 50 to 5000 mg per liter, and insert them into a sand bed in a plastic greenhouse. Keep the room temperature at 20 to 30°C and the relative humidity above 90% (so that a film of water remains on the leaves of the cuttings). With this cutting method, the rooting survival rate can reach more than 80%.
