Fertilization Management of Young Jujube Trees

When a jujube tree is planted in the same year, base fertilizer is applied at the bottom of the planting hole, and topdressing is applied in multiple holes under the canopy after the seedling has recovered. After the second year, fertilizer is applied twice each year. The first application is before bud break, when a 20 cm trench is dug around the canopy, and farmyard manure plus half of the year's chemical fertilizer is applied. The second application is in mid-July, when the other half of the chemical fertilizer is applied in multiple holes under the canopy, 10 cm deep. After leaf expansion, 0.5% to 0.3% monopotassium phosphate is sprayed on the branches and leaves for foliar feeding, with an interval of 20 to 30 days between applications.
