Applying Base Fertilizer to Mature Jujube Trees

The base fertilizer for mature jujube trees is applied during the dormant period from November to February of the following year. Generally, farmyard manure such as stable manure and compost, which decompose relatively slowly, is used as the main fertilizer. The amount varies depending on soil fertility, crown size, and tree vigor. Generally, 50 to 100 kg of base fertilizer is applied per tree, along with 1 to 2 kg of a ternary compound fertilizer or a phosphorus, potassium, and compound fertilizer.
