What are the symptoms of damage caused by the jujube bud weevil?

The jujube bud weevil, also known as the small white weevil, jujube flying weevil, jujube eye weevil, and small gray weevil, damages the tender buds and young leaves of jujube trees. When the insect population density is high, it can eat all the tender buds of entire patches of jujube trees, causing a second round of budding and affecting yield and quality.
