Cooling flowers in summer so leaves no longer wilt and turn yellow

This summer has been exceptionally hot, and even people can hardly stand it, let alone the plants at home. A high-temperature, high-humidity environment is bad for flowers. So giving plants proper cooling and ventilation in summer is a very important matter. Today I will share two little methods with you that can cool down potted plants so the leaves no longer wilt.
1. Spray water on the leaves in the morning and evening
No matter what kind of plant it is, once it lacks water it easily wilts, let alone in the hot summer. Plants evaporate water very quickly, which easily causes a water shortage in the roots, stems and leaves. If water is not replenished in time, it easily causes the plant leaves to turn yellow and wilt.
Generally, spray water in the morning and evening when the light is not strong, as this can replenish a certain amount of water for the plant leaves. Never spray at noon when the temperature is high, as this easily scorches the leaves. Also, when spraying in the evening, reduce the amount appropriately, so as to avoid water not evaporating in time and harming the plant.
2. Add coarse sand to the saucer
This method makes use of the principle that water evaporation absorbs excess heat. Spread a layer of coarse sand in the saucer under the flowerpot, then sprinkle a little water into the coarse sand. In this way, besides lowering the temperature, the evaporation of water can also provide a humid environment for the flowers and increase the air humidity of the surroundings.
Of course, besides needing to cool the flowers, the most important thing is to give them a cool and ventilated environment. In such an environment, most flowers can grow very well without any cooling treatment. If the environmental conditions cannot be met, we can also place a basin of water around the flowers, which can also play a certain role in lowering the temperature and increasing air humidity.
