Scientific feeding methods should be adopted to prevent cattle diseases
Scientific feeding methods that should be implemented to prevent cattle diseases
Cattle should be grouped and fed according to breed, age, sex, strength, and fattening method, and rations should be reasonably formulated to meet the nutritional needs of beef cattle at different production stages, ensuring normal growth and development and rapid fattening. Sufficient clean, pollution-free drinking water should be supplied to ensure normal metabolism of the cattle. The barn should be kept dry, clean, and quiet, able to prevent heatstroke in summer and cold in winter, creating a living environment conducive to beef cattle growth. Deworming should be carried out once each in spring and autumn for the herd; calves should be dewormed once at 1 month of age and once at 6 months of age, and newly purchased feeder cattle should be dewormed once during the observation period.
