Feeding during the first stage of high-concentrate intensive fattening of feeder cattle
In general, rapid fattening of feeder cattle takes about 120 days and can be divided into three stages.

The first stage, the transition and deworming period, lasts about 15 days. Newly purchased feeder cattle must be dewormed, including the removal of internal parasites. Carry out feeding during the transition stage, that is, first let the cattle that have just arrived eat roughage freely; the roughage should not be chopped too short, about 5 cm long. After they are put in the feeding trough, roughage should still be the main feed, and it can be chopped to about 1 cm. Control the feeding of 1 jin of concentrate per head per day, mix it evenly with the roughage, and then feed it. Gradually increase the amount of concentrate to 2 kg, and complete the transition period as quickly as possible.
