Symptoms and Control Methods of Ringworm in Cattle

Ringworm in Cattle
Ringworm in cattle is a zoonotic skin fungal disease, commonly known as ringworm. Ringworm in cattle is mostly seen in calves and young cattle, while adult cattle have stronger resistance to the disease and show only mild symptoms. The disease most often occurs during the autumn and winter housing period; poor skin hygiene and nutritional status, excessive humidity in the cattle shed, and high temperatures or overcrowding all easily promote the onset and spread of the disease.
