Prevention and treatment of common fish diseases in fry rearing
1. Common infectious fish diseases include the "three old diseases", white head and white mouth disease, caudal peduncle disease, etc.

Treatment of white head and white mouth disease: For every mu of water surface with an average depth of 1 m, use 15-20 kg of quicklime, mix evenly with water and splash over the whole pond; or take 2 to 4 parts per million of Chinese gallnut, crush it, soak it in hot water, and splash the whole pond with both residue and liquid.

Treatment of caudal peduncle disease, also known as tail rot disease: For every cubic meter of water, use 0.3-0.4 g of Yukang or strong chlorine powder and splash over the whole pond.

2. Parasitic fish diseases

In addition to Sinergasilus, Dactylogyrus, Lernaea and Argulus (the prevention and treatment methods are the same as for adult fish farming), parasitic fish diseases also include trichodiniasis, chilodonelliasis and ichthyophthiriasis caused by protozoan parasites.

Treatment of trichodiniasis and chilodonelliasis: Use a mixture of copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate at a concentration of 0.7 ppm (ratio 5:2) and splash over the whole pond; or for every mu of water surface with an average depth of 1 m, boil 30 kg of neem branches and leaves in water and splash over the whole pond.

Treatment of ichthyophthiriasis: Use the traditional Chinese medicine preparation Shachongling and splash over the whole pond for three consecutive days, following the instructions. Or use 1-2 g per cubic meter of water of methylene blue and splash over the whole pond.
