Growing flowers can both cultivate your character and decorate your home! Recently, gardening friends have often been asking Chengcheng: what flowers should we grow at home? Which ones can better decorate the home and look both beautiful and healthy?

So today Chengcheng will share with you which flowers are more suitable for decorating the home!

1. Living room

The living room is a place for the family to relax, and it is usually fairly large. We can place somewhat larger foliage plants beside the sofa or in some corners! For example: peace lily (Alocasia macrorrhizos), Swiss cheese plant (Monstera deliciosa), peace lily (Spathiphyllum), and dwarf umbrella tree (Schefflera arboricola)!

Of course, if it is a small apartment and the living room is not very large, placing these bigger potted plants is not suitable. In a small living room, it is best to place some smaller potted plants on the coffee table, the shoe cabinet, or the TV cabinet, so the whole space looks more lively!

2. Bedroom

The bedroom is a place for rest. When choosing and placing plants, we should create a quiet and beautiful atmosphere as much as possible! So we can place some small potted plants on the bay window or the bedside table, such as: a small pot of pothos, a rubber plant, a small spider plant, etc.! For these plants, it is best to choose a more distinctive flower pot, so that when they are placed out, they are both beautiful and add a little romantic touch!

3. Bathroom

Placing some small potted green plants in the bathroom can not only remove odors, but also make people feel fresher visually! But bathrooms generally do not have very good light, so when choosing plants, we should choose some that are more shade-tolerant,

such as: spider plant, snake plant, ivy, etc.! It should be noted that although these plants are shade-tolerant, they cannot be kept away from sunlight all year round. We can occasionally take them out and let them get some proper sun, so they will grow better!
