Have you ever dreamed of opening a tiny flower shop, welcoming customers with all kinds of auras, and listening to stories with different endings? Today, I'll share a few especially beautiful flower shops with you. They are in Paris, London, and Copenhagen respectively. Though different, every one of them is poetic and beautiful. Take a look at these stories, and calculate how far we still are from that old dream of opening a flower shop.

Paris, Bleuet Coquelicot

Paris has the reputation of being the "Capital of Romance" and the "World's Flower Capital." Here there are countless flower shops with stories and taste. Bleuet Coquelicot is one of them.

Bleuet Coquelicot's current owner is named Tom. Tom studied art curation at university, but because of his love for plants and flowers, he chose to work at a flower shop near his home right after graduating.

Four years later, having accumulated enough experience, he bought that flower shop and began running it himself.

?Bleuet Coquelicot flower shop?

As soon as he took over the shop, Tom redesigned and replanned the layout with his designer and carpenter friend Robin, and spent a full two months renovating and remodeling the old shop. They designed every corner of the store with care.

?Tom holding his little daughter at the flower shop entrance?

Tom kept the flower shop's previous name and character. They redesigned the existing old wooden boards, old windows, and old door frames.

More than two months later, every passerby was full of surprise at this little shop that had suddenly taken on a completely new look.

If one day you went downstairs and suddenly found such a beautiful shop at the entrance of your neighborhood, you'd surely be so happy you'd faint!

?The flower shop's wall, covered with exquisite murals?

Bleuet Coquelicot may not be the most famous, but it is certainly a flower shop with warmth. A shop of just over 100 sq m is not big, yet every time you pass by, you can't bear to move on.

Of course, the owner's looks (see the picture below) are sure to stun you too.

?Tom tending the plants in the shop?

Tom says this is his only shop. Here, he knows the customers, and the customers know him too. In Tom's heart, this is not just a flower shop, but also a way for people to connect.

Everyone's life is a constant process of connecting with others. If you can meet in such a beautiful place, isn't that a blessing?

?The wooden box in the shop specially prepared for customers to leave spare keys?

Tom is on familiar terms with almost many of his customers. For example, when customers go next door to visit neighbors, they leave their personal belongings in the shop.

When people finish a day's work and pass by here, they occasionally stop to enjoy a delicious glass of wine, and the exhaustion all over their bodies just vanishes like smoke.

?The lights in the shop that supplement light for the plants?

Every time he gets a new plant, Tom raises it himself for a year before selling it. He carefully observes the plants and records their changes in each season.

But Tom doesn't sell to just anyone. To customers who won't take good care of plants, Tom refuses to sell. Because he sincerely loves plants, he naturally isn't at ease handing them over to people who won't treat them well.

The photographer says Tom is like a poet. He expresses himself through plants and flowers, and also conveys a one-of-a-kind beauty.

London, That Flower Shop

This is the second flower shop I'm introducing to you. It has a special name, simple yet wonderful. "That Flower Shop" is located next to Ace Hotel, a long-established London hotel (also called the coolest hotel in the United States). Its owner, Hattie Fox, is affectionately called "That Flower Girl."

?The moving scenery outside the shop door?

Hattie was originally a landscape designer, and later began running this flower shop because of her interest. Thanks to her professional background, she quickly established a style of her own.

But when asked about her style, she simply says, I like to keep things as real and natural as possible, for example letting flowers keep some berries, seed pods, or even a few withered leaves.

?“That Flower Girl”,Hattie Fox?

Here's a lovely image of the owner Hattie, leaning against the flower shop's door frame, smiling faintly. At a glance you can tell she is the kind of woman who loves plants and flowers with all her heart, not flashy, but warm.

?Flowers and plants being tended?

Today, "That Flower Shop" not only sells bouquets in-store, but has also expanded into wedding floral design and flower delivery. This diverse way of operating provides the flower shop with an endless stream of vitality.

?The signpost not far from the flower shop?

At the intersection not far from the flower shop, a signpost has been thoughtfully placed so that even first-time visitors won't get lost. And with such a thoughtful little shop, the closer you get, the happier you feel.

Copenhagen, Blomsterskuret flower shop

Flower shops with different flavors suit different cities. If the previous two flower shops are French romance and British classicism, then the next flower shop I'll introduce is bright, simple, and elegant Scandinavian style.

?Martin Reinicke fiddling with the potted plants in the shop?

The Blomsterskuret flower shop created by designer Martin Reinicke is rustic and beautiful, and has now become a dreamy scene on the streets of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Whether they are locals who have lived here for a long time or travelers just passing through briefly, all are willing to come here for a look and buy a few flowers to take home along the way.

?The perfect collision of city and countryside?

Bright lighting, wooden buildings, and terracotta flower pots and rattan woven picture frames. Simple, natural decorations and green leaves and blooming flowers bring out the best in each other, as if writing a beautiful pastoral poem in the city.

Without enough understanding of and reflection on the city's atmosphere, one could not create such a perfectly judged, beautiful presence.

?The shop owner placing the potted plants at the entrance?

The floral decorations displayed in the shop fully reflect the owner's ingenious aesthetic ideas. Whether bottled or made into bouquets, the finished products are always full of a natural, rustic artistic flavor. When traveling to Copenhagen, you must go take a look.

Postscript

Opening a flower shop, though beautiful, is not easy. The flower shops above have different styles and are far apart, but the owners have clear common points, and that is...

A unique and well-honed aesthetic,

A love for plants and flowers that stays the same year after year,

Sufficient knowledge reserves and practical foundations,

And also immense patience, loving every plant and every customer.

You who want to quit your job and open a flower shop, are you ready?
