After escaping the city, I built my dream garden at a small Western-style house in the suburbs

I escaped the city and bought a "small Western-style house" in the suburbs. Ours doesn't count as a villa. The marketing calls it a stacked townhouse, but really it's just a small Western-style house. The residential density isn't high, yet there's still a lively feel, with neighbors watching out for one another and visiting back and forth often. The price was incredibly friendly, dirt cheap, just a bit far from the city center. But for big cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, that little distance is child's play.
We live in a developing city, and the relative advantages are just housing prices and pressure
I moved the climbing rose from the terrace of our old home, but it had just been moved, the weather was hot, some leaves got scorched, and I trimmed some branches too. If it makes it through the winter smoothly this year, I'll see the results next year.
I'm building my dream garden. With rain one moment and sunshine the next, sitting in the yard, the call of the cuckoo really is beautiful.
