Fuchsia leaves turning yellow in hot weather: what to do? Avoid these care mistakes

In summer, when the weather is hot, it is quite normal for fuchsia leaves to wilt and turn yellow. Only with careful care, once summer is over, it will look fresh and new again. But if the care method is wrong at times, things may backfire. So when faced with this problem, how should we care for it, and which practices are wrong?
Wrong practices:
Watering too much. Many flower lovers think that when fuchsia leaves wilt and turn yellow, it is due to lack of water. Watering once a day is not enough. In the morning, if you water it in the evening, the result will be more and more yellowing, wilting, and rotting, and in the end the roots will have directly died.
Spraying the leaves hard with water. When fuchsia leaves wilt and turn yellow, people spray the leaf surface hard with water. Many friends have probably done this. In fact, wilted and yellow leaves mean lack of water, and reasonable spraying can replenish water in time and reduce the symptoms of water shortage. But if there is too much water, it often backfires, affecting respiration and photosynthesis, which causes the leaf yellowing condition to worsen.
Fertilizing randomly. Many flower lovers think that wilted and yellow fuchsia leaves are caused by lack of fertilizer. Regardless of high temperatures, they apply a lot of fertilizer, making things worse for the fuchsia, and in a week it can turn into dry firewood.
So what should be done?
In hot weather, fuchsia should be kept in a shady place. As long as the light is bright, do not expose it to the sun. Exposure to sunlight or too much light will worsen the yellow leaf condition.
Pay attention to observing the soil in the pot. If the soil is wet, do not water it, as watering will cause root rot. If the pot is dry, water it in time to prevent the fibrous roots from drying out and drying up.
Do not fertilize fuchsia in hot weather. Only water and fertilizer will increase the burden on the root system, worsen the yellow leaf condition, and even cause the whole plant to die.
In hot weather, be sure to give fuchsia ventilation. It is best to place it in a well-ventilated place for 24 hours. Many yellow leaves can fill out in a day. More ventilation and reasonable watering are equally important.
When yellow leaves appear on the fuchsia, they should be pruned in time; do not be reluctant. Cut off the yellow leaves and dense branches. In order to save nutrients, the remaining leaves will grow well. Do not forget the idea that yellow leaves can turn green again; yellow is yellow and cannot change.
