Fish tank: 180/60/60

Material: "Slender" driftwood

Aquatic plants: Cryptocoryne ciliata, Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green', carpet grass, dwarf pearl grass, Anubias barteri var. nana, Sagittaria subulata, Ludwigia palustris 'Super Red', Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow Leaf',

Use driftwood to create the overall composition

First, use the thinner-branched "Slender" driftwood to build the overall composition of the aquascape. While creating a sense of pressure and depth, combine driftwood pieces of various shapes. Then make slight adjustments to the angle and position of the driftwood as a whole. In this way, the basic framework of the aquascape is complete.

Selection and planting of aquatic plants

Insert bamboo skewers as markers wherever aquatic plants are to be planted.

Plant Cryptocoryne ciliata in the front position, and plant smaller Cryptocoryne species the deeper toward the back of the scene. Plant brown Cryptocoryne in the middle position, and place Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green' at the inner side. Plant larger varieties in the front position and smaller Cryptocoryne varieties toward the back, which will emphasize the sense of depth in the aquascape.

Note: Be sure not to plant Cryptocoryne that will grow large. If you do, the aquascape is ruined.

Plant carpet grass beside the Cryptocoryne.

Show nature in an unnatural form

Plant dwarf pearl grass in the foreground area.

Plant Anubias barteri var. nana at the lower positions of the driftwood.

Note: When planting aquatic plants, do not be too rigid; planting them a bit more casually will actually look very natural.

Planting the background plants

For the background plants, choose Sagittaria subulata wrapped with plant fiber and plant it behind the driftwood.

Plant Ludwigia palustris 'Super Red' as the background plant on the left side.

Finally, after planting Microsorum pteropus 'Narrow Leaf' on the driftwood, the entire aquascape is complete.

There is still a surprise here
