Plastic bottles and cardboard boxes are no match for it; it works for growing anything, and it's simple, convenient and practical

As people's living standards improve, more and more people have fallen in love with growing flowers - it cultivates character, beautifies the home, and purifies the air, so it's a good thing that achieves several goals at once. But some flower lovers have commented that ever since they stepped into this flower-growing pit, they really spend quite a bit more money, because they need to buy flower fertilizer and tools, and they also tend to kill their flowers, so they have to keep buying more - it's simply a vicious cycle. Seeing these comments really makes me anxious, but flower lovers, if you really want to grow flowers, plenty of things around the home can be used for it. Not only does it save money, but more importantly it's eco-friendly. For example, plastic bottles and cardboard boxes can both be used for growing flowers, but recently I discovered another little thing for growing flowers that works for any flower - simple, convenient and practical.
What is this little thing?
It's actually plastic bags. Plastic bags are available everywhere and easy to get, and they're even easier to use. Whether it's pest control, rooting, insulation... they all work. Let's go through it in detail below:
Don't be afraid if your pothos is about to die - just slip a plastic bag over it, and it will come back to life and burst with growth
Many flower lovers grow pothos (Epipremnum aureum) whose leaves turn yellow and look dry and shriveled, as if about to die. At this point I just need to cut off all its leaves, sprinkle on some water, and slip a plastic bag over it, and within a few days it will grow back full of little pothos vines.
This is mainly because pothos likes warm, humid environments by its growing habits, while some flower lovers give their pothos an environment that is too dry, causing the leaves to dry out, and combined with untimely watering, it ends up dry and wilted and listless. By using a plastic bag we create an environment suited to its growth, so of course it can quickly fill the pot with growth.
However, when using it, flower lovers should poke a few holes in the plastic bag to let it ventilate and breathe.
If your flowers attract little bugs, slip a bag over them and the bugs all disappear
Flowers like gardenia, jasmine and Chinese rose (Rosa chinensis) prefer a ventilated environment, but summer is hot and stuffy, and if anything goes wrong they attract lots of little black bugs. At this point we can call on a plastic bag for help.
Cover the plant with the bugs in a plastic bag, then spray insecticide into the plastic bag, tie the plastic bag shut, and leave it sealed for a whole day. It kills the little bugs cleanly and thoroughly, without causing much harm to the human body.
Once all the little bugs are eliminated, with careful care afterwards, I believe your gardenias, jasmine and Chinese roses will soon be covered in blooms.
Winter is coming - build a little greenhouse for your plants, and they'll pass the winter safely and fill the yard with flowers
In winter, many plants and flowers can't be moved indoors because they're planted in the ground or because of space constraints. At this point, aren't you worried the plants will freeze to death? But with plastic bags there's nothing to fear - we can use plastic bags to build a little greenhouse for the plants, so they can pass the winter safely.
Place them in a spot with plenty of sunlight for care this way, keeping them warm and humid. Some flowers don't even stop growing in winter, and I believe once the warm spring arrives, they'll soon be covered in blooms.
Flower lovers, aren't plastic bags really handy?
