Conditions are limited, so I grow them indoors, and my succulents have been grown so ugly by me that, as a Virgo, I simply cannot stand it. Because of an accident, I came across painted pots in early 2017. Hey... this idea is not bad!

Thus began my first batch of painted pots: the silhouette series. Because it was spring, I bought too many succulents, and I painted about several dozen pots in this series all at once

Gradually, such simple images could no longer satisfy me, and then came various series: deer, watercolor, landscape... I fell more and more in love with series images

Last year I painted an angel and a mermaid, and that started the rhythm of my crazy love for series images, and it gradually cured my compulsion to have to paint all four sides

Now I even have a crazy idea: for each series image, plant all the same succulents, not letting them multiply, and definitely holding them back

The succulents are already too ugly to look at, so in autumn I will change the soil and then control them again. Because back then I added a layer of pure peat on the surface of the small seedlings, I could cry...

Because I have been growing them for a year, during which I was studying painting in all kinds of ways and also studying growing succulents in all kinds of ways. Although I cannot compare with the great masters, I am still full of confidence when it comes to comparison photos.

After a comeback Echeveria glauca (blue echeveria) died in the summer of 2017, I looked everywhere for Echeveria glauca and took one in even though it was very ugly; common varieties can be beautiful too. Potting it up on November 15, 2017, paired with my own pot, I like it even more

Now I also have a little bit of my own small space outdoors, and I am super happy

Pachyphytum 'Amethyst' (peach egg), my favorite variety, bar none.

A group-buy one, also potted up on November 15, 2017. Because it is grown indoors, it has not grown as well as those of my friends in the same period, but this year it has produced lots of little pups, which makes me very pleased

Orca, the only crested form I like. Do you all feel face-blind when looking at crested forms? Anyway, I do. Paired with the water-ripple mermaid back view, a controlled orca should be super beautiful

Repotted last month, Pachyphytum 'Mikazuki' (three-day moon beauty), it feels like it still has not grown well, but it will become beautiful again in winter

The Hundred Ghosts series images, a super eerie collection, and also my favorite collection. Being a mudslide in the world of painted pots. Everyone loves all kinds of flowers, little girls, cute and adorable things, but I prefer all kinds of strange spirit bird images, paired with a white bear that grew up from only 6 leaves

Hundred Ghosts series: Gūhuòniǎo

These two were completed not long ago: White Snake. Transforming into a human

Green Snake. Understanding love

Hundred Ghosts series: Nine-tailed Fox

The great master Gu Geli's work. His images are too beautiful and also too difficult. At present I only have this one, painted a few months ago. Another day I will paint another one. Keep working hard, young one

The Big Fish & Begonia you all love is like that, while mine is like this. I estimate that very few people have ever seen this image

The classmate Wang series images, this one was painted around the middle of 2017. Because my mom did not pass all of her portrait-painting talent on to me, I have never been able to paint portraits; they are too ugly. At that time, classmate Wang thought this was still the best-looking pot

In April this year, after learning from all sides and with the teacher's guidance, another "classmate Wang" was born, but it could not satisfy classmate Wang, so I could only silently go improve my skills

In June, under the guidance of friends and teachers from all sides, and under all kinds of nitpicking from classmate Wang, the 4-year-old "classmate Wang" was born again. After the nitpicking of classmate Wang himself, this time he could not say anything. A friend said classmate Wang's expression was not very good, so next time a big smile. Let's see whether I can paint it

The only picture of me painting together with classmate Wang. Forgive the messy environment. A shared hobby urges him on, and at the same time urges me on too.

His favorite dinosaur, a Children's Day gift. We competed to see who could paint faster, hahahaha... I won. The chubby dinosaur painted by classmate Wang, later he painted another one, and took it to sell to the teacher at the Children's Day flea activity

Next time let's do a self-portrait of me. I think if I can paint myself well, then my painting skills should be really great. The sea of learning has no shore... the journey is long. Live and learn, and cheer on together with classmate Wang, working hard for grading exams (I will just take the grade in my own mind)

Next time I will share the steps for painting pots again. If you like it, remember to help by liking and sharing
