Pothos survives as soon as it meets water, has tenacious vitality and enjoys the reputation of the flower of life; for its trailing green branches and leaves, you only need to ensure sufficient moisture and it will live very well. Placing a few pots of pothos at home is extremely vibrant, and it can both decorate the home and purify the air.

Pothos is a foliage plant with climbing ability; as long as it is cared for properly, it can become a green waterfall. It is very good for hanging basket cultivation on a windowsill or balcony, so how do you grow pothos into a waterfall shape and make it climb the wall? Just do these few things.

1. Use organic fertilizer water

If you want pothos to be able to climb and grow, a certain amount of fertilizer water is indispensable. Generally, you can make some decomposed organic fertilizer at home yourself, such as okara. The okara left after grinding soy milk in the morning can be used to decompose and make flower fertilizer. Put the okara directly into a clean plastic bottle, add a few pieces of orange peel and clean water, and place it in the sun. Generally, it can ferment completely in about two weeks.

2. Water pothos with beer

In summer, beer is an indispensable drink. Leftover beer can also be used to water flowers after dilution. Dilute it with clean water about 50 times, and then it can be sprayed directly onto the leaves of pothos. This can keep the leaves glossy and can also improve the photosynthesis ability of pothos, making it grow better.

3. A warm and humid environment

Pothos is a tropical plant. When caring for it, you need to keep the environment warm and humid. If the air humidity of the environment is high, it can grow quickly. Although it is relatively shade-tolerant, it still needs to be moved outdoors regularly to receive light, which can accelerate the growth of pothos.
