Pinch off all the rose buds, and grow a toothpick-sized seedling to a bursting pot in one month

Today I'll talk about how to top roses, whether they are shrub roses, climbing roses or miniature roses. During the seedling stage, you need to top them to encourage more new branches.
The roses behind are ones that have been topped, and this one has not been topped, and we can clearly see that. The rose that has not been topped has only a single lonely flower bud at the top. But these pots of roses behind that have been topped have already sprouted new shoots, and every leaf axil has sprouted new shoots, and these new shoots are growing very fast.
Because roses all have apical dominance, if you do not top a rose, it will only know how to grow upward and only bloom at the top, only opening one flower at the top, so the plant shape is not attractive and it blooms little.
We can pinch off the terminal bud, and then many lateral buds will sprout beside it. If the lateral buds produced by topping grow too tall, we can top them a second time, so that the side branches grow evenly, and by then these side branches will be covered with flower buds, and the abundant blooming is very beautiful.
When topping, we pinch off the bud core at the top together with one leaf below it, and this is called topping. If a flower bud appears, pinch off the flower bud together with one leaf below it.
If it is a toothpick-sized rose seedling we bought, we can keep one flower bud. After it finishes blooming, then top it, so we can see whether it is true to type. If it is a rose we propagated from cuttings, we can just do this operation directly.
After topping like this, more than ten days later, many lateral buds beside it will sprout out.
